Boy Scouts
St. Andrew the Apostle’s Boy Scout Troop 717 is a very active group with over 30 boys and 17 adult leaders. The troop is open to all boys from 5th grade through 12th grade, interested in having fun and developing skills in outdoor activities and leadership. During the school year, the troop meets every Monday in Monsignor Hannan Hall. Every month throughout the year, the troop organizes trips and activities, including hiking, cycling and camping. Annually, in the summer, the troop plans a “high adventure” excursion. In past years, these excursions have included trips to Canada, the Caribbean and the Rocky Mountains.
