Angels of Mercy
The Angels of Mercy is a group of caring parishioners who serve the sick and the homebound within our parish family with the following services:
- Visits
- Meals on a short term basis
- Rides
- Errands
New volunteers are always needed and welcome.
Parishioners, we very much want to help you;
please do not hesitate to call so that we can minister to your needs.
For those of you who need help or for those of you who would like to help,
or if you know of a parishioner who needs assistance,
please call Vicki DiGrado at 703-803-9373 or via email.
God bless you!
Prayer Shawl Ministry …
Do you like to knit or crochet? We have a Prayer Shawl Ministry here at St. Andrew’s to go along with our Angels of Mercy.
The shawls are knitted or crocheted with prayers to show God’s healing love and blessings in a tangible way for those in need.
They will then be given to comfort someone who is ill or in a nursing home.
For anyone who may be interested in this particular ministry, please contact
Joan Crum at 703-817-1770 for more information.
Patterns are available or you may use your own.
